Polda Metro Jaya Stadium which located at Mapolda Metro Jaya, Jalan Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta officially inaugurated on Tuesday (7/21).

In this inauguration, Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General of Police (Irjen Pol) Nana Sudjana appreciates Jakarta Government for providing international standard sport facilities.

"It has mini soccer equipped with international standard synthetic grass, together, we can see this stadium is a bona fide. We thank Jakarta Government for this facility. For all members, we must take care of this facility together," he conveyed.

He assessed, the good sport facilities surely could make his subordinates to be more enthusiastic in maintaining their health.

"This sport facility is one of our necessities since us, the police, indeed need excellent physical condition. In facing many community actions in Jakarta, which surely it is not an easy job, not only patience but we also need an excellent physical condition,"  he asserted.

Jakarta Youth and Sport Agency (Dispora) Head, Achmad Firdaus explained, Jakarta Government granted spor t facilities renovation to Polda Metro Jaya.

"It is a grant in 2019, where the construction began in January 2020 and completed at the end of June 2020. Jakarta Government not only providing grants to police agency, but also to TNI. Because we have programs for related agencies in RPJMD," he explained.

According to him, this stadium is equipped with mini soccer field, jogging track, outdoor fitness facility, stadium seating, restrooms, locker rooms, and others.
